- 1988 : Craniofacial fellow with Dr. Paul Tessier at the Clinique Belvedere, Paris, France.

- 1989 - 1995: Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX.

- 1990: Board Certified in Plastic Surgery.
